Our Drain Unblocking Process
When you call, we ask a few quick questions about what's happening — which fixtures are affected, whether water is backing up, and whether this has happened before. That lets us send an engineer prepared for the likely cause and gives you a fixed price before anyone arrives. On-site, we start with the least invasive method that's likely to work, escalating to high-pressure jetting if rodding alone doesn't clear it.
Internal vs External Blockages
Internal blockages — a slow-draining sink, a backed-up toilet — are usually quicker to access and clear. External blockages, such as a flooding gully or a blocked manhole, often involve more debris and may require jetting from an external access point. Either way, our vans carry the equipment for both, so a single visit is usually enough.
