How Drain Jetting Works
A jetting hose is fed into the drain from an access point, delivering a high-pressure water jet that breaks up the blockage while simultaneously flushing debris through the system. The same process scours the inside of the pipe, removing grease, scale and silt build-up along the way — which is why jetting often resolves blockages more thoroughly than rodding alone.
Common Jetting Jobs
- Grease-blocked kitchen and restaurant drains
- Long external drain runs with heavy silt or debris build-up
- Recurring blockages where rodding only provides a temporary fix
- Pre-emptive cleaning ahead of a CCTV survey, for a clearer picture of pipe condition
- Scheduled maintenance jetting for commercial kitchens and managed properties
Commercial Drain Jetting
Restaurants, takeaways and food premises across Greater Manchester rely on jetting to keep grease traps and kitchen drainage flowing, particularly ahead of environmental health inspections. We offer one-off and scheduled jetting visits to keep commercial drains clear before they cause a closure-risk blockage.
