What a CCTV Drain Survey Involves
We feed a waterproof camera through the drain run from an existing access point — typically a manhole or rodding eye — recording footage as it travels the length of the pipe. The camera identifies blockages, cracks, root ingrowth, displaced joints, and any sections that have partially or fully collapsed, giving an accurate picture of the pipe's condition without any digging.
When a CCTV Survey Is Worth Booking
- Before buying a property, to check drainage condition isn't a hidden cost
- When a drain blocks repeatedly despite being cleared each time
- Ahead of an extension or building work near existing drain runs
- To support an insurance claim following drain-related damage
- To resolve a dispute with a neighbour over a shared drain
From Survey to Repair
If the survey identifies a defect that needs fixing, we'll talk you through the options — from a localised patch repair to full relining — and provide a fixed quote for the work. There's no obligation to use us for the repair; the footage and report are yours to use however you need.
